Step Out is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic CSE Specialist case
worker to join our Team delivering one to one support for young people
up to 25 year old.

Job title: CSE Specialist Case Worker
Temporary Post – Fixed Term Contract until June 30th 2019
Salary: £14.00 per hour with additional benefits.


Step Out is a Specialist Child Sexual Exploitation project in Oxford, set up in 2011,
based within Donnington Doorstep Family centre. We deliver one to one case work
and bespoke group work for children and young people aged up to 25 who are at
risk, experiencing or are survivors of CSE and grooming. We also provide an
advocacy and ambassador service and support for professionals
Step Out offers compassionate, holistic support to young people through nurturing
and trusting relationships, creating a safe space and providing a flexible approach.
We work from the principles of Youth Work methodology and Participatory practice.
The CSE Case Worker will focus on delivering child centred, relational and co-
creational one to one support for Children and Young People and deliver bespoke
group work to Children, Young People and Parents.
The post holder will be integral in the ongoing development of the CSE agenda
across the county working with a range of professionals from both the voluntary and
the statutory sector and supporting the project manager in the evolution of Step Out.
Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, have the ability, vision
and passion to strengthen our existing work, ability to work flexibly and supportively
within the team structure and will demonstrate initiative and creativity to contribute to
the direction of the work.
