Young people will enjoy a range of exciting activities, including swimming, bowling, mini golf, laser tag, punting, exploring Oxford city centre, visiting a local city farm and getting creative with an artist to help redesign our youth club space. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, independence, and life skills while making new friends, staying active, and creating lasting memories. We will provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment and aim to help every young person feel included, valued, and connected to their community while having a fantastic summer holiday.

Our Youth Club Social Hub at Donnington Doorstep is a safe, welcoming space for young people to relax, connect, and have fun. Our sessions will run weekly for different age groups, offering a vibrant mix of activities designed around what young people enjoy most. What’s on offer? Our youth club is all about choice, creativity, and community. Young people can enjoy:
- Chill-out space to relax with friends
- Table tennis & games
- Sports activities including basketball, football
- Arts & crafts sessions
- Music and creative opportunities
- Access to computers in a safe and supervised place
- Hot food provided at every session
We’ll also be running special events throughout the year, giving young people even more opportunities to try new things, build confidence, and be part of something positive. Make it your own This is more than just a youth club — it’s a space shaped by young people. We’re inviting everyone who attends to help create a new identity for the club, including:
- Choosing a new name
- Shaping the look and feel of the space
- Influencing the activities and events
Come and be part of building something that truly reflects you.
Support beyond the session Our sessions are supported by youth workers who build positive relationships with young people and create a safe, inclusive environment. We also have a dedicated family support team available to offer guidance and support to parents and carers when needed — helping to strengthen the whole family, not just the young person.
A parent or guardian needs to grant permission for any young person to access the club.
Occasionally we have to close our sessions at short notice. Keep an eye on our updates section or Doorstep’s Facebook page.
We hope meeting you soon.
