Youth Development Manager
We are excited to be recruiting to this new and important role at Donnington Doorstep. The role is well suited to an individual that has proven experience of, and a passion for, managing universal and specialist Youth Service.
Based at Donnington Doorstep, you will manage, and develop the day to day running of all Services for Young people up to 25 years old with a focus on those at risk, experiencing or survivors of Child Exploitation. This will include developing and implementing new services to ensure the sustainability and positive impact of the project.
As the Youth Work Development Manager you have the following responsibilities.
• Oversee the management of the Senior Project Workers delivering a variety of projects including face to face universal drop in sessions, specialist 121 mentoring and case work, bespoke group work, and street based youth work.
• To lead on identifying, and developing new opportunities and activities through funding applications and grants.
• Provide line management, motivational leadership, mentoring and coaching to the staff team, ensuring clarity of direction, effective communication and personal and professional development.
• Manage the Youth Work budget, ensuring that the team operates within its budgetary parameters
